Maneuvering
This site is quite complex, having many pages, so we provide this guide to help you find your way around. Also, we include some “pointers” for using some of the features. Turn your volume up, for we use sound generously, for emphasis!
We use a translator module on the KingsWay site. This enhancement will allow many more viewers to read most of the text-based items on our site in their native languages! To date, we have 58 discrete languages that can be accessed.
If you look to the right of this article, just above the “Tracie” story, you will see the flags of a number of nations. By clicking on a flag, this site will be translated in the language of that nation.
There are over 90 pages/posts on the site. See if you can find them all. Each is chunk-full of interesting stuff. On the right hand side of each page is an ARCHIVE list of all posts that have been placed on this WEB site since its revision in March, 1999. The list grows daily!
At the top you will find a small menu that shows three areas where you can go to find everything listed under each of those Categories.
Notice, please, the category of “Discussion“. This is a repository of the posts that have been placed on this site. The latest posts are shown at the right of each page; a complete list with summaries is shown under News Feeds at the very top of the page.
On all posts we have allowed and encourage your Comments, By clicking on “Leave a Comment”, that will open up a field at the bottom of the page, if it is not already open for use. We welcome your comments, opinions, etc.
Many pages allow Comments. Obviously, by the nature of others (like THIS one) , no further comment need be made.
Regarding comments: you will be asked to include a name (not necessarily your own – it could be a “screen name”) and your real e-mail address. The e-mail address will not be seen on the WEB; this is for us to know from whence comments come. An offensive commenter could be barred from future access.
By submitting a comment, you signify that you will adhere to the Commenting Rules.
When making a Comment, you will see the “CAPTCHA Code (required)” box. This is so that, by inserting the “code” word you see, this will prevent the hundreds of spam we receive (spam cannot read that code). If you have a problem reading it, click on the speaker icon and it will be read to you. Or click on the Refresh Image icon and it will generate another code word.
In the center of the Home page is our Featured Content presentation. Three separate pictures will scroll by; clicking on any of those pictures will take you to a full page pertinent to that topic. There is a pull-down selector menu if you want to get to a particular item before it scrolls by. The Community page has three sub-topics: History, Future and a Gallery of pictures. The Gallery has 55 pictures that change randomly every 7 seconds.
Every picture (except in the Gallery) has either a “title” or a link to another page on this site or to a completely different WEB site. Moving the mouse over the picture will reveal if it is a link or just a title. Clicking on the picture will take you to a linked site!
Below the Featured Content pictures are two areas where you can read about other organizations; they offer opportunities for you to work, in some manner, in their ministries.
At the bottom left is the Media area, which is self-explanatory. If you go to the WMIT site, you can receive their live broadcast. This station was founded and is a part of the Billy Graham organization; the music is fairly contemporary. There are also Bible teachers from time to time.
On the top right-hand side is a short inspirational video that will change monthly. Follow the instructions; you may want a Full Page view for clarity. These are beautiful! Once started, it will run to the end but the ESC key will shrink it back to normal size.
If you know someone who might be considering an abortion, give them the link to the “Tracie” story, my baby girl! We are sure their heart will be swayed after reading it.
