If you go to the Celtic Woman WEB site or if you get their newsletter, you will be invited to a You-Tube video tribute to America from one of their concerts. Their WEB announcement reads: “We are delighted to announce our beautiful song ‘O, America!’, which was written by Brendan Graham and William Joseph Schwartz exclusively for Celtic Woman“.

The song is introduced by Chloe Agnew, the youngest member of the group, thanking us for accepting them “into the (American) family”. They are on tour in the USA through July 2nd, ending in Morrison, CO (Red Rocks Amphitheater), their most favored venue! You have a few weeks to get tickets for performances in your area.  See their WEB site for show dates, locations, tickets, etc.

Perhaps a tribute by this amazing singing group from Ireland will help to inspire all of us in the USA in spite of the “problems” we see here. In Ireland there have been similar “problems” for hundreds of years. This would almost compare to Africa sending Christian missionaries to the United States (which they DO)!

There is an HQ button on the video screen, giving better resolution for high speed Internet-ees.
