KingsWay Christian Ministries has been created to provide service to the Christian world in several areas: Christian Teaching and Ministry, provide Christian-based Marriage counseling (and, optionally, officiate at weddings) and to develop a Christian Conference, Teaching , and Retreat Center plus develop housing and a Retirement community at that  site.

Since we began an organized ministry work in 1996, we have ministered to a number of people. In addition to the “normal” things that we were organized to do, we have seen (or assisted) innumerable  people  come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Messiah. There have been an average of one Christian wedding for each of the nearly 15 years of our existence.

In our home pool or in other locations (one time in a bathtub!) we have conducted 22 baptismal services. We also ordained three people into the Gospel ministry, to aid in the work of KingsWay Ministries. And, unfortunately, we were called upon to officiate at six “home going” (funeral) services.

One of those sad occasions was to minister at the funeral service in Tennessee of our co-founder, Peggy Ann Humphreys, who died of cancer. Peggy and Johnny were an integral part in the organizing of KingsWay; Peggy “shared” the identical vision for which we were originally founded.

Teresa B. True, another of our co-founders and Vice President also passed away in November of 2006 after a seven month bout with  cancer.

Both ladies contributed much to KingsWay and will be sorely missed!

Our current Board members are Daniel True, President, of Port Saint John, Florida – Lester Cannon, Vice President, Jonesborough, Tennessee and Francie Cannon, Secretary/Treasurer, also of Jonesborough, Tennessee.
